Default Wheel and Tire Help???

I have a 2003 Silverado LS with a 2/4 drop and am still running factory 16 inch wheels with the original tires. Just turned 28,000 miles and they are starting to crack in the tread and need to make sure I have a safer setup before taking her cross country this summer. I have always wanted to go bigger with a nice clean look.

So I am looking for suggestions...
  • Should I go with 18" or 20"?
  • What offset should I be looking for?
  • What is the best tire for a good ride in either an 18 or 20?
  • What are the best brands to look at?

Default Wheel and Tire Help

I have searched for about 2 hours last night and another hour tonight. I will continue my search but would really appreciate any advice anyone can throw out for me? I have never bought aftermarket wheels for any of my vehicle so I need help. I like the style of the KMC Skitch and am thinking a 20 would be good but open to your recommendations...

Here is how she sits right now...
