Default wheel cleaner

I know this sounds like a stupid thread but i don't want to screw up my wheels so here it goes...

I have the '08 GMC polished 20s. what will not screw em up thanks

I use Meguiars Hot Wheels All Rim wheel cleaner on my custom painted black wheels and they come out A1 everytime

I use a mothers powerball with mothers polish to get the tough stuff off, then Meguiars hot wheels rim cleaner to finish it off

if they are factory they may be clear coated, in that case DO NOT use a wax or polish. If they are bare aluminum you should use a mild soap or you can buy a wheel cleaner like mentioned above.

I use Meguires car soap, followed by the powerball and then a pure carnuba on my billet wheels (no coating). Using a wax or polish on a coated wheel will creat small pores that will allow moisture under the coating
