Default Wheel backspacing

I'm looking at a set of 18" X 8" Centerline wheels. On their website, they say the backspacing of these wheels are 5". Considering these wheels are 8" wide with a 5" backspace, how would they look on my truck? Will the lip of the wheels be flush with the body? If not, will they stick out past the body or tuck in the fender wells? Any info would be appreciated.

They should be pretty close to flush or tuck a little, I had 20x9's with a 5.5 and they were perfectly flush with the edge of the fender.

They're pretty close to being flush with the fender but do not stick out.

Sean, I'm looking at these. They are called "Stingray III Ultra". They look similar to the Stingray III's except the spokes are a bit more beefier looking. I'm not sure if there are any other differences. I'd get them polished, not chrome. Just something I'm thinking about. How's that LQ9 treating you?

The ultras are little less expensive, if I remember correctly when I talkedto them on the phone. Did you check the sales/clearance section at Centerline? Call them, they may cut you a deal.

The motor is doing great. Tranny is hating me. Trying to decide on sponsor or local built. We need to grab lunch one day.
