Hi to all, I don't know if this is a repost and if it is I apologize. What is the widest tire that I can run on a OEM 16 inch rim? I came across a set of 285 60 16 and I was curious as if it is too wide. Thank you in advance.

 

Not too wide for the rim. I have run a 285 75 16 for many years. My dad has 275 60's and they look like they could stand to be a bit wider. Go for it! (Just remember that wider tires push a little more water when driving in rain)

 

Haha thanks, I think I am going to go for it, as far as the rain I don't have to worry much as I live in Lubbock and it hardly rains and when it does I don't drive lol
