I need to put the black plastic cap that goes on the tailgate back on but i am not sure what kind double sided tape or adhesive i should use. what do you guys recommend?

 

i use 3M double sided tape at work and it holds good.

 

i was thinking of using that but i didnt know how well it would stick.

 

thats whet holds all the door molding crap, just clean both sides up real good and slap it on there!

 

just make sure the tailgate is good and clean before you stick it on. you may want to go to an automotive paint supply store to get the thinner stuff because the tape i see in wal-mart and parts stores is thicker than what ive used so i would think it would stick out.

 

ya i was thinkin it might be a little thick also. Maybe i will go to an auto paint store tomorrow.
