Default What should I pay to have this done?

Want my mirror covers painted Onyx Black to match the body and the door handles and buckets.
I also want my rear tails smoked/tinted as well as mythird brake light.
Was quoted about $270.00 by a shop with a great rep today. Should I shop around??
I tried painting the covers myself and its just too ******* humid here lately, even baked them in the oven on low and still no good, then the can spattered after the 5th try and I said F this crap!

I don't want to cheap out and get a shitty job done, that's what scares me.

I believe I paid close to $90 total for new smooth mirror caps and having them painted. I should have just gotten them prepainted, my painted door handles were $60

Around here in the Northeast, that would be a good price IMO if the job was done well and and didn't chip off a year later. FWIW, it seems like things are a little more pricey in this corner of the world though

I would ask about a warranty, or something like that, but other than that it sounds like a really good deal........keeping labor in mind.

I would say thats a fair price seeing as how a reputable shop will be doing the work.
