what hood
ok since my hood got messed from a chunk of cement i have a delema: here are the choices
fix my hood $447, most likely less
cowl hood $440 + paint
HD hood $375 + paint
couple questions: how much is the average for painting a hood?
post pics of HD hoods on 1500's if possible

Well, I just purchased a Reflexxion locally for $499. I called 3 paint shops i knew and was qouted from $1050-$600. The speed shop i bought the hood from recommended another shop which qouted me $250 complete.
I just checked out how it was coming and I have to say it looks damn good. Final sand and clear coat to finish tomorrow. Pics Tomorrow night.

Cowl is a great choice but I would go with an HD hood for sure. I have an 06 with the "powerdome" hood found on the HD's, and it looks sweet. It really looks nice from inside the cab.
