Easy, 2002-2010 if you wanted a V8 and rwd for cheap you got a truck. Now the camaro is back and the price of trucks is up people have moved on.
Most of my friends have Subaru, gti, $20k is the right number for having fun. I feel people still can affford toys just not expensive ones. My brother just bout a Fiesta ST, I got a new Ram. We both can afford a lot more but we have to make smarter choices these day. Trucks will always have there spot, I need 4 wheel drive and to pull a trailer twice a month. I want a camaro/mustang/challenger but need something else.
This site will always have an audience, just not the same size it had.

Tim hit home with most... alot of us have gotten older, more responsibilities..etc... And for me personally everyone got just too fast!! lol...I didnt have the money or time to build a 9 second truck and like someone else said...11's are boring and no one cares since they are a dime a dozen now. Hell i remember wanting a turbo kit years ago... it was cool and still new...so i got one ran 11's and was cool... lol .now everybody has one since they are cheap and its not a big deal at all to most. My current truck i refuse to go turbo....JUST because so many newbs have jumped on that wagon.

yeah, back then you could get a fully loaded ecsb or crewcab truck for 27k and they would beg for your trade-in. now a fully loaded truck is damn near 50k and the truck is not 20,000 better in my opinion. you will never see me spend that much oney on a truck.

I built my first truck when I was 18, I pratically lived on this site. It was blowing up, there was constantly new post and crap to look at I could read this crap for hours. Just got another truck and started getting back on here again and it seems dead? Is it me or did everyone stop getting on here? Is the truck scene over or did everyone just move to another site?
