That's actually not a bad idea. I haven't tried that before. Next wash I wil try thatl. Thanks. Just so people know I'm not nieve when come to washing a vehicle. I'm just looking for techniques I've not heard of to help.

Yea I do that every other week (clean the tires themselves) I actually use 0000 steel wool with soapy water to get the old shine off the tires. 0000 steel wool is great to polish glass as well. What cleaner do you use??? Some cleaners will actually mess the rims up.

im using all adams detailing products when it comes to my vehicle. so for cleaning off dirt on the tires i use adams all purpose cleaner and a good stiff brissle brush and scrub the dirt off then wash the tires with water. and then i apply adams vrt with a tire sponge. and the all purpose cleaner from adams wont mess up your rims or paint.

I use Adam's Polish's VRT for my tires trim and engine plastics. i wouldent use anything else
