I think it would look good. I've thought of doing this also but the badges are too expensive. It's different but looks good on a ''sporty'' truck.

Jeremy, I would advise against it. Your truck looks good now and i think the emblems will detract from the look you have. If you are still undecided, get some SS magnets made and stick them on when you feel like it. That way they can come off as easy as they went on. lol

I drove past a new Ford Expy with Vtec emblems. Or was it a civic with a Expy body kit?

I would do it IF I had a 03-04 reg cab with ss bumpers, anti-sway bars, bigger motor, sweet exhaust, nice rims, everything painted same as the body color, and an interior that was seriously upgraded. Then and only then would I consider doing that.

I think if you do it right it can look nice...

Everyone has their own opinions... When I think of "SS" I think of what it stands for "Super Sport." Now if your truck is in the mid 13's or higher, I wouldn't bother because in my opinion a modern day SS should be able to take out a Lightning... They have in the past, and they should now. If You have SS badges on your truck, they make you look fast, because of what the badges stand for.

I think it boils down to what the "SS" symbol means to you, where you are going to put them, and if you like them. I personally want to put them on my truck, but not until I get it moving, and I dont want one on my tailgate... If you put themin the right places they can look nice, but you should compare between the new SS badges and the old SS badges that came with the Camaro's. The new badges might not look right without the new front end...

well if your truck has a supercharger in it and looks just like an SS might as well be one. But you dont need no stinking badges.
