I have Toyo's on my 17" Escalade wheels, and they work GREAT! Wet, dry, even in the snow on a 2wd truck. I love em'.

Another vote for the Toyos. I have the 275/60-16's on stock wheels and they have great traction in dry weather. Wet traction is terrible. I'll spin the tires when I give it a little throttle going 30 MPH in the rain. I've had them for about 12,000 miles now and they still have plenty of tread.

i had proxes on my old 20s in 275/45R20, i loved them. a bit slick in the rain but that was part heavy throttle and part pegleg rear. i plan on getting them on my 17s when the current tires wear out

Great feed back guys. Everyone seems satisfied with either for the most part.
I would have thought those of you with higher stalls would have trouble in the rain /snow, for me it gets pretty hairy even with the stock tires.
