Default what backspacing

I need to know what backspacing I can get with a set of 22's. I have a 2004 Sierra with a 4/6 drop and factory 20's. They have 275/55/20 and rubb like hell. The rear rubs too. I want to max out the fenderwells with a set of 22's.
Help

for a 9.5" rim I'd get something around 40mm backspacing to tuck. You'll probably need more though if you don't want to have to roll your fender lips.

what size tire would clear? I like a beefy sized tire and possibly staggered wheel size(width). I think it was an Intro wheel guy that told me that they have put 22/10's all around on GMC and Silverado's with 5/7 drops. What do you guys think?
