not necessarily. but the paint cracked due to stress in my case so you still have to repaint. unfortunately, you'll have to repaint the whole thing if you have an older vehicle because older paint is hard to match.

just for the record the sides of your bed are called fenders.
Am I missing something here????....Don't see where anyone has called rear fenders anything different. Seems like you are the one confused with what a narrowed REAR END is (what he has done), and REAR FENDERS which you have flared. Just haven't heard of anyone narrowing their fenders.

when i look at the last picture, it looks like the fenders have been pushed closer together, either way, yes the rear is narrowed.
i was merely trying to explain to cuerva that he narrowed both.
