Glad you're okay. Sorry about the truck, it was looking great. Now you get to start a whole new project, and that's half the fun anyways.

thanks for the support guys.. im already starting to get sore on my back and ribs.. after i got hit by the second car i noticed the white g6 still driving so i jumped out to chase him down but he just pulled into a store thankfully... yea this project was just about close to being finished.. so much time and money to see it gone.. looks like i need to start looking for something else to drive..

oh and they put the blame on the guy who rear ended me for the most part was what i was being told

In Texas, if you rear-end someone its your fault regardless of what the person in front of you was doing. So its good news that they should be paying for it.

My question is, is the insurance going to recognize the cost of the paintjob the truck just had and pass that extra cash to you.

If he has receipts to provide, then yes, most insurance companies will take that into consideration. He will probably have to fight for it though.

I will say this, when the wife hit that pole I was very impressed that the insurance didnt try to jew me out of another set of LED tails, they covered them no questions asked.

back when I got my 22's, I called them and asked about "What if they get stolen or damaged" or whatever, and they said long as I have reciept no big deal.
