Xtremely slow!
I borrowed my friends daily so i could polish it up for him, its a 2001.
He filled in some scratches with touch up paint the other day and i got to sand them out today yipee.
here is how it started


anyways, i did a wash, clay, then wet sand with 2000 grit, only went over the touch up spots.
Then used meguires m105 on a Porter Cable. the combo did a great job at taking the swirls and scratches out, here is a 50/50.

Then polished it up with m205, and here it is

 

Nice job. My S10 was the same color. It's almost as bad as black to keep clean.

yep its up on the list with black and red. really anything dark sucks, but looks great when clean

and yep i bake in the sun, someday when im motivated ill clear out the garage so i can work in there.
I always wait for shade to wax, but i needed to get this done so i borrewed some shade from a carwash

 

i had an 02 w/ the 4.3 same color extended cab. i loved it. i had gthe xenon body put on it tho. looked sick!. truck looks goof tho. keep us posted

Nice looks good! i am trying to persuade him to do a 5.3 at least, he is thinking about it. hopefully he does it that would be fun.
