mine came in today too. i put one on my tailgate where the silverado badge used to be. the other one will probbaly end up on my tool box at work. as for the clone thing, i'm not trying to be a VHO, i'm just letting everyone know that i have a vortec with more HP than it came with from the factory. that technically makes it high output right? thats why i put the badge on the tailgate and not the doors.

Technically if it has more hp than it came wiht it is H.O right. I would love a SS, but I dont care for xcabs. If I had a newer body style, I would make a clone. I dont think of it as disrespectable (well maybe ain a way) if you can back it up. I wouldn't mind these, or SS emblems, but not till I'm running solid 14's. Otherwise, ignorant people will think all VHO/SS's are slow. Just my Oppinion. I think its funny when people put Z-71 stickers on lifted 2wds or 4x4's because Z-71 really isn't much different, but people know Z71. Hell even Chevrolet is doing it. You can get a clolrado Z71, or a colorado Z71 4x4. They tried with the AVE remember Z66. that even sounds dumb.

my truck has SS wheels and an SS front bumper, but i wont put SS emblems on it because it isn't an SS. I still have the Z71 stickers on it and ever since i lowered it 3/4 everyone tells me to take them off. its still a Z71 no matter how low it is. and it definatly isnt an SS. but it does have a HIGHER output vortec in it. lol

Do what makes you happy. There is a guy on e-bay selling high quality 3d emblems if you don't want the VHO emblems.
