True, GM says a 325. Alos lets look at some simple math.

5.0= GM(307) Ford(305) *notice a 2 unit variable in the equation?*
5.2= GM(327) Ford(323) Dodge(318) *see the variable?*

Speaking of math....

For the LM7, if you run the 96.01mm bore and a 92mm stroke numbers through the equation for the volume of a cylinder, you get 666.06 cubic centimeters. Multiply that by 8 cylinders and you have 5328.45 cubic centimeters (or 5.328 liters). Convert those ccs to cubic inches for a grand total of 325.16 cubic inches.
