Default Very Important question.

I took my wheels off last night to clean them and when I put them back on I amde me realize something that to me doesnt seem right. My back-left wheel looks as if it is sitting in about a half inch deeper than the right. If you look at my back-right wheel it looks as if it sticks out about a half inch further than my left. Any ideas why it looks like my axle is moved over to the right and 1/4 - 1/2in? Take in mind it has been dropped 3/4 and then I removed the overload spring. is this normal of chevys?

check the alignment of the bed with the cab on both sides also. my buddies bed oon his lightning was shifted off to the side. if it is the rear end this isnt the first time ive heard of this. 03gmc had this problem i think, but its really not a problem at all if your all aligned up.

what like you cant get your rear end aligned? i dunno why he would say that, there could very easily be a twisted spring or something wit the ubolts or anything could throw off your axle? also did you measure it, it could be in your head casue sometimes i really think my bed is off on one side then i look at the otherside and its the same way. i could see how that would easily throw you off. just take a level and put it on the bedside where the wheel well is and run a tape measure to the center of the wheel, if its the same id bet my lift that you need your springs or axle or something aligned.

I am going to put it on the lift tonight and check everything over jsut to be sure. I am very **** and picky when it comes to my truck so it could very easily be my heading playing with me.

I think its a common thing chevy/gmc has like the "chevy lean". My trucks rear passenger wheel always stuck out a little more than the driver side when I was static. Since I bagged it, I've corrected the problem
