Default Underhood dressup project

Well, I've kinda commented on my plans in another post, but I wanted to make a list since the project will get started soon! Here are my plans:

PAINTED (Indigo Blue to match the exterior)
  • smoothed SSR engine cover
  • smooth rad overflow cover (Source)
  • smoothed core support cover
  • smoothed electrical center box
  • smooth batter cover (Source)
  • brake booster
  • intake manifold
  • pullies (powdercoated)

CHROME
  • fender support braces
  • fender-to-core support brace
  • extra battery bracket (located on pass-side fenderwell)
  • factory airbox mount
  • valve covers
  • coil pack brackets
  • fuel rails
  • alternator case
  • ps/alt bracket (may get p'coated, not sure on $)
  • Billet Specialties billet pieces = elec ctr cover, brake m.c. cover and cap, ps cap, oil fill cap, overflow cap, battery cover, washer resv tank (Source)
  • polished TB

ADDITIONAL BLING
  • Airforce One CAI (Source)
  • stainless hex-head bolt kit (Source)
  • miscellaneous hex-cap underhood bolts

I'm sure that this list will change, but I wanted to get it started for any suggestions/comments. Anyone interested in a hex-cap/stainless bolt kit for the trucks, like fender bolts, core support, etc? I'm going to try to throw something together.

This project will really get started once the '80 swap is done, but I'd like to have most if not all of this done by the end of September. I'll keep everyone updated!

I've seen it and wasn't really impressed with the finished product.

What would the problem be? Should I put those on the "to be painted" list?

No, I've seen it in person, but it wasn't the sponsor's work--sorry if I mislead anyone. It looks like it's not quite polished. Nothing can replace chrome!

I'll be doing some of these things very soon. Black and red paint scheme. That new sponser has some kiss *** prices! I'm definately interested in the stainless kit.

FYI, I went to a local supply place here and got the Stainless Allens for the entire motor for abour 45 bucks. That is just about every bolt you can think of. The only problem is you need to know the sizes. http://www.spaceairsupply.com/index.htm
