Honestly do what you want, but the center cap screams lifted truck... but in other words. Get chrome if you don't want to constantly polish your wheels, sealant or not they require a lot of up keep.

That's a good looking wheel IMO...it does look like a lifted truck wheel, but with a different backspacing and tire profile would probably have a different effect.

How much more does chrome weigh than polished?

Aslong as they stay washed they will live no prob.. Once the aluminum gets hit with salt there fuked unless you clean the right away. I duno if I will ever run a aluminum wheel again..

I bought my truck with the wheels already on them and in bad shape. Last winter killed them. Peeling like a ginger with a bad sunburn

swissvax autobahn actually makes a huge difference. my wheels still look really good and i haven't polished them in about three weeks. i just need to wipe away the brake dust

I have some stock 17" wheels I plan to start running in the winter. For right now I think i'm going to hold off for a bit and play things out. Damn rubber thats on the stockers right now get no grip on wet roads so winter is gonna suck.
