Default TYC GMC headlights and HIDs (no pics)

For those following this mod...

I still don't have my truck back yet but I took my headlight over to my buddy's house and installed the H1 HID into the housing and placed it in his truck (GMC 2500HD with existing HIDs) and it worked fine. The only problem I can forsee is that the ignitor strip touches the metal slot inside the headlight since the effective diameter of the bulb and ignitor is much greater than the stock H1s. I am not sure if this will cause long term issues or not so I may look into grinding the hole out a bit with a dremel just to be safe.

The color looked good and from what i can see the projector produced lots of usable light and had the distinctive had moon shpae of a projector where it is rounded on the bottom with a straight cutoff on the top portion of the beam.

I promise I'll get pics ASAP.

I promise I'll get em the day I get the truck home.. If they would stay put on my Silverado I'd just stick em on there just to get the pic but that would be kinda silly. LOL

Hey man. No big deal. It's not like I was gonna go out and buy everything tomorrow. LOL. Just like to have an idea of where I'm headed in the back of my mind, so I don't waste money on things that I'll have no use for later on.
