Default Turn signal mod

So I got bored and ran up to Advance and bought some more Silverstar 3157 turn signal lights. I ran a jumper power wire over to the DRL socket, and viola--completely amber turn signals.

Only problem is that the bulbs in the DRL position are WAY brighter than the ones in the parking lights. The bulb gets pretty hot. I'm going to see if I can order another turn signal socket from the dealership tomorrow, and wire them up as blinkers.

They look much better in person than they do in the pics, but here's a couple of shots:

LOOKS GOOD!!!

I hate the driving lights in my 04. So I'm gonna use the signal from the driving lights to turn on the Fog lights (Cause they look awesome anytime ). And wire the driving light sockets in parallel with the parking lights. So the whole bottom light goes orange. I think that it will look very good.
and possibly go up in a step in a fuse, but I will check what they put out for amps when I rewire them.

Well, the sockets from the parking lights will fit in the DRL position...I ordered 2 and they should be here today. I had the part # written down but can't find it now. If they're here today, I'll have 'em in tonight and post some pics for y'all.

Me too, so I use that little light switch right there on the dash and turn them off.
