Default Turn Signal Mirror question...

So I can install a gauge cluster with transmission temp display capability because there is a connector floating around behind my existing cluster allowing it.
Could I be so lucky as to have the connectors in the door harnesses that allow one to hook up factory turn signal side mirror's on a truck not originally equipped with the option? Or does it require splicing? Anybody have detailed info if splicing is required?

Thanks,
Bill

Well.... what i did was splice into my exsiting front turn signals. There is a ground and two others and i just put black to black and than i forgot what i did with the other two colors.. but I just ran the wires back through the door and hid them very well all the way to the front towards the signals and spliced it all in.

What year is your truck? On 03 and up its just that simple, as plugin into the the prefab on the window switch ,if you get the entire mirror assembly. Now if you get the glass only you will need to splice in there.
