This is what happened:
They took an AWESOME style from APP made in the early 2000’s...the high end luxury prerunner wheel of choice. Think Geiser Bros, Stewart Raceworks etc..Look em up!
$350 bucks per wheel back then wasn’t going on your Ford Ranger or Toyota Pickup prerunner... we had American Racing outlaw 2’s! Lol!
The point:

They made a copy, close enough to resemble its greatness, but not toooo close.
****THEY ADDED A FAUX BEADLOCK AND A TWO MORE SPOKES****

“The original method standard wheel” polished. Anyone remember?
Then..
****sold that bitchen look at a price point ANYONE could afford****
They gave the desert community what we always wanted..then the general public saw what they “assumed” was a new design.
They capitalized the F out of it like any great American company should do. Look at where they are now.
I was the kid who couldn’t afford, but dreamed of APP’s
Method was the company who made it possible, so I could dream big.
They sold like hot cakes from day 1, and rightfully so.
I watched it happen overnight.

Check out the flyin teal Chevy Jimmy Weitzel built 20 years ago.
Now check out Methods “Hole” wheel.
Nothing beats Ford stealing their suspension design for the Raptor DIRECTLY from JDFabrication back in 04 because they didn’t patent it quick enough.
