More important esp. if you're goin w/. a complicated paint scheme. If not, do hood later like u want, since it won't be a problem to match pansy pink.

Uh oh. Listen Jules, IDK how that midnight auto's gonna pan out, but while siktruk is sittin in the slammer, just get the hood now & be done w/. it. No worrying bout matchin paint or none of that ****. It's done & u can move onto another phase.

If you use the stock bumper with the HD grille, you'll have to rig it up like I did.
Took the front bumper off and cut a few slits on the back section about the width of the bottom of the grille and used a torch and bent it down so the grille would clear. Then I had to cut the black plastic piece on the top of the bumper as well.

This is as clear as I can make it in paint. The bottom of the grille hits the stock bumper if you do not cut and bend it down and out of the way.
The black is the bumper, obviously, and the red is where the grille would come down.

Great! Thanks for the quick reply! I thought that is what you were talking about but got a little confused with the bending down part. If possible, I would love to see a close up pic of how that turned out where the cut was made.
