I just called and he said the follwing parts are painted but still need the clear coat.
- Bottom of the Hood
- Driver's side Fender
- Driver's side Door
- Grille Shell

I am going to need your expert opinions on what to do to my hood. I dont want to just paint it all red, I would like to use some silver to highlight the scoop in some way. Let me know if you can think of any ideas. I should make a another thread about that though.

Do it black. Never was a big fan of red and silver. Try to match it with something else on the truck. reason I say black is it will match the tires and tint if you have any.

I am not opposed to black, Where on the hood are you thinking that I should paint black? I was just thinking that I would use silver because my Bowtie and Inlets of the SS Bumper Cover are going to be silver aswell.

Actually if your gonna have the SS inlets silver and the bowtie then it might work since there are other pieces to accent it. You should think of powdercoating the wheels silver too, that might look good. Then again...As far as color matching things before I see them I'm really bad at that. I can't picture things in my head and see if they would look good, but I would assume you could do the leading edges of the scoop and then the scoop itself. But not the area in front of the scoop inbetween the leading edges, maybe leave that red.
But again I really suck at deciding what colors would match well, My truck's all black right now and I'm having a hard time deciding what color I should powdercoat the rims...

What about fading silver all the way into that scoop starting light and then getting darker as you get closer to the inlet, just in the scoop area....I guess it could look ghetto, or accent the sides with some type of pinstripe? Come on, who's good with photoshop?

Yea he is really good, I am impressed for sure. I am paying a little bit more than I wanted to but you get what you pay for. Thanks again for all of the great comments. My truck should be all done on Friday June 15th so I cant wait. I am excited to get it home to put the new wheels, brakes on and finish the interior.
