Default Truck bed question

Can the outside skin of a truck bed be replaced if damaged, without replacing the entire bed? If so what is involved, and what does one go for? I guess this is the place to post this, if not, point me in the right direction...

Yes it can, its called a skin or bed side.. To buy a oem skin I bet it is 400 or so.. You have to drill the spot welds on the ends of the bed, along the bed seam. If you look inside you can see a line that looks like culk. That needs to be cut, the side will come off

you dont have to go into the bed floor. the spot welds are on the lip to the inside at the top of the bed, in the tail light pocket, and at the front of the bed between the cab. no offense but i doubt youll be able to do it yourself but i dont know your abillity or any of your friends.
