Default Transit wheels

Anybody have any leads on gm's 22" steel transit wheels?
I've only seen one ad on eBay and it was local pick up only--on the opposite side of the US.
I also called a bunch of local dealerships in SoCal and no one wants to give them up.
Worst case I'll have to put some money up for Centerline Smoothies and have them powder coated.

Any tips or leads would be helpful, thanks guys!

Check out Detroit steel wheels

They aren't exactly the same but close.

I thought they would have been much more expensive! It's close to what people are asking for the transits and I get to choose my own backspacing. Thank you, I think I'll be going this route.

The Centerlines will set you back $2100 shipped and you'll be lucky if they ever actually ship them. I ordered on 7/20/16 and was told 4-5 weeks. At 12 weeks I cancelled the order and they still haven't charged back my card. F Centerline anymore...they used to be slow but now they're way worse. Nothing but excuses and more delays, and they really don't give a damn, it's an everyday thing for them.

For the Transit wheels, just keep watching craigslist and ebay. I scored a set a while back off CL that had already been powdercoated gloss black, looked great.

That's good to know. I've order two custom wheel sets from Centerline in the last four years with a 6-8 week turn around each occasion. Maybe their staff changed?

After searching for the transit wheels for a while now, I'll probably just go with the Detroit Steels. They have a good selection of what I'm looking for.

Yeah I've bought 2 sets of wheels from them many years ago and there were delays but nothing nearly that bad. Dunno about different staff, it's actually the same salesman I talked to years ago, but who knows what's going on at that place otherwise. Lots of griping on the web about them too.

I get it, when you buy wheels that are made-to-order, there is a delay. All the companies are like that. But don't tell me 4-5 weeks and at 12 weeks you're still giving me the same BS stories and not even a worthless promise of a new ETA, no, nothing at all. Just that they're still not ready? Forget it...

Yeah that's shitty, I was told 6 weeks each time and they arrived on time or a little behind. If I was told otherwise and it took 12 weeks I'd be pissed too. Nothing like waiting for something and getting the run around. I'm glad you shed light on this, I was seriously considering them again.
