Quick question ... the roll pan DOES look a little "flat" to me. What are most guys on the board using in terms of roll pans? The fitment on the roll pan I have isn't the greatest ... it looks like it has rubbed on the bed (ie. on the sides of the roll pan), thereby chipping th paint ... Maybe I'll just order a new one?

thanks,
Chris

Sir Mike's pans are really meant to be welded in from what I can see. Mine's chipped some paint off of the bed too. Just get it welded in and be done w/ it.

I'll go out and check the truck for any stampings/ markings in a few minutes ...

I'm definitely going to shave my tailgate and weld the roll-pan in soon. I don't care how much trouble it is ... looks so *****.

Well, that looks a LOT like a Sir Mike's pan. My hitch won't work w/ a Sir Mike's pan.

Why won't the Sir Mike's pan work with the BellTech hitch??

Also ... I checked the inside of my roll pan and found a faded decal that says "1012276 ... 99-up Chevy/ GMC roll pan w/ box"

Does anyone recognize this part #??

The Brackets on the Belltech hitch are in different places. If you bolt up the beltech hitch, the sides would have to stick out through the roll pan. They were just made for the Belltech Roll Pan. I had taken Scream's, to try to make it fit on my truck. It wasn't happening. JC whitney has the Hidden Hitch for a Sir Mike's roll Pan for aroung $115 shipped.

Smokinrice - I OWE YA!!!

Thanx a ton for the links ...

I've successfully confirmed that I have a Sir Mike's roll pan.

Should I order the hitch through JC Whitney, or Sir Michael's?? I also want to place an order for the spare tire relocator kit. I'm sick of having the spare in the bed ...
