Some foam brite engine cleaner and a few stiff toothbrushes would do all that aluminum wonders on your lq4 As long as you repainted the engine you might as well clean the aluminum up.

Thanks for all of your compliments guys! Sharpshooter and I have done all the work on this truck. I'll have to post pics up of when I first got it(don't have that camera with me right now). We are at a point where the cosmetic part of the truck is done--and now it's time for performance. I have installed Permacool e-fans and that's it for now. In my garage sitting right now are: LQ4, yellow springs and hardened pushrods, cam on the way, Pacesetter coated longtubes and ORY, Yukon 4.11 gears(front and back) and Eaton LSD.
