Too Big??
#1
So I need your guys opinion. I am thinking of swapping out my 22's for 24's.
Anyone think this will be too big?? I am aware of some performance losses with going that large and I am ok with that.
I am going for all an all out show truck look and still have the GO!! to match.
I want to do it but am still a little skeptical. Any opinions on how it would look on a bagged truck?? I have seen it done before so I know I can do it. But as usual wanted to check with y'all here first. Thanks.

They'll look good as they'll be huge.
On a bagged truck, there will be a LOT of work to make 24's work. 305/35/24 is a ~33" tall tire. If you want the truck to lay out you are going to have to have a huge notch out back, narrowed rear axle, tubbed rear fenders, and a setup with enough lift to allow you to pick the truck up over such large wheels. In the front is when it'll get real fun. You'll need new fenders up front, relocate a lot of stuff under the hood, tub out the firewall, relocate the brake booster or get a smaller one, possibly have new control arms built to compensate for the offset since most 24's stick out a good inch or more (Going with a billet 24 would alleviate this problem)
Is it worth it? You'll have to decide, but I think it is

The notch I just got done is huge........... I am aware of what it will take to get them to fit and I am willing to do it. I am jusst afraid 24" wheels will look way to big on a SC SB pick up?? Just wants some opinions on looks.

Do what you like with it. I get **** all the time as most think its stupid to put all this money in a Tahoe to try to make it fast.

Well when it comes to speed you can never throw enough at a motor to get it fast. But when it comes to looks there is such a thing as a limit when it comes to money and gaudiness.
Well after thinkin on it for a few hours................ I think I would rather take that money to do some motor work and stick with 22's. It would look bad *** but after thinking about it........really woulndt serve any function except for looking bad ***. I would rather have it faster though.
