For me it's just right though, since it sits flush (which is exactly what I want), and since the bed space has been made smaller, I can't fit alot of junk back there when people ask me to move stuff for them "since I have a truck" lol. It's been holding up for about 6 years now.
Wow, I thought those were a little higher on the sides of the truck. I have been looking for a retractable for my dually and had just about narrowed it down to the pace edwards bedlocker. Being that you can't really see it makes it that much better.

If you don't mind, pm me with what you like/dislike about it if anything else than the above. Thanks

I saw one at Autorama that I really liked. It was flat and set down in the bed a little. I haven't been able to find one like it anywhere. It didn't look like a custom piece but I couldn't find a brand on it. Has anyone ever seen one like this.

not to jack the thread, but are there any decent covers that also have a low pro tool box? I want something to stash stuff in with easy access and that doesn't roll around...yet i don't want the look of a traditional tool box. Also I want the rest of the bed covered.

Truxedo has one exactly like you are describing. I was going to buy one but ended up getting the Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit instead. I forget what the call the Truxedo cover w/tool box but I am sure you could find it on their website. I think they go for around $700.00 if I remember correctly. Hope this helps you.

I got the exact same one, only complaint is its hard to get the buttons all buttoned, and hard to clean after its muddy

If you're talking about the sides, I don't have any buttons. And I agree about the muddy, pollen, dust, or what ever it takes.
