Tires
#3
I have 275/65-16, load range E in the M/S but not 2s; I guess there weren't out yet(2007). Yeah, great tires; they're all I use. I got 60K and they're still going but have some cracks in the sidewall(little tiny cracks).
I'm not opposed to getting new wheels but I was told I won't get the mileage from a lesser load range tire.

the michelin m/s is a great tire, the m/s2 is the next gen of that tire. with a 3/4 you should def stick with a e rated tire especially if you do any sort of towing/hauling. stepping down to a lesser ply count tire will limit you on any sort of work that the truck can do as well as not meet the factory required ap's and is not reccomended. i belive on your truck its 50 or 55 front and 80 rear. a d rated tire maxes out at 50psi. what style/type of tire were you interested in?
*also as far as the cracking goes some is completely normal with age and is called o-zone checking. it only becomes dangerous when it becomes very excessive or you can see the belts in between the cracks.

Put them on today. Now I don't need new shocks!
Just regular 16s. I thought about wheels but nah. I'm moving up to 93 octane fuel and uncharted waters as far usage goes.
Thanks for the replies.
