Default Which tires for 18x9.5?

I'm a indecisive little nancy and so I keep moving in between 305's and 285's for my 18x9.5" 6"BS wheels. I've been told with a 2/4 drop (planned) 305's may rub a decent amount at full turns or bumps, and I really don't want to be pushing my fender inadvertently for an extra 1". So I've been trying to get my options. Anyone have opinions on these options?

Weight is a concern as well as I would like to keep the best performance. 295 seemed like a good compromise....

Andrew

Nittos 555's. I wouldg go with the 295/45's. They do hook pretty good and they look bas *** on any ride.

No rubbing issues with the 295's?

Good job agreif, keep the specs coming, I saw some Goodyear 285x50's somewhere on the web that weighed 31# but haven't been able to locate them again. I am also weigh conscious and don't want no rub issues so I am going to stick with the 285's

Andrew, what are you showing for weight on the Conti tires (33/38)?
