Default Tint Q

On Friday i had to park in a gravel parking lot for school and when i came back outside from the wind my truck was covered in dirt and small pebbles on my drivers side. I went immediately to the car wash but i guess from rolling down the window and rolling it back up i managed to scratch my tint on my window. Its not that bad its a hairline scratch but about 4 inches long but it will kill me because i know its there. Any recommendations?
Should i:
Re-tint? Both drivers and passengers or just the drivers side? Will it be a different shade from being on longer
is there a quick fix?
Leave it alone? Will the tint start to come off if i leave it like that?

I'd just leave it unless you're really going to go nuts about it. If it's driven regularly it is a truck, so it's going to have scratches and dings. My 06 already has a couple door dings and a scratch on the front fender.

meh, just get it retinted if its really bothering you. just do the driver side first and see how it compares to the passenger side. if it doesnt match, go back and have the passenger side tinted

If it bothers you enough just re-tint the messed up window, it will be the same shade as long as it's the same percent, percent doesn't change over time unless it's in crappy condition. I don't think it will come off but like I said, if it's going to bother you enough re-tint it.

how did the tint get scratched? tint should be on the inside of your window. rocks and stuff were on the outside. if anything it would have scratched the outside of the window. you sure it didnt scratch the actual window?

im confused also....

1. i dont think the gravel scatched it - almost impossible!
2. re-tint them! do you do it yourself? if so take 2 hours and redo it - simple
