Hey guys, I was thinking about putting that 3M clear protective film on my hood. I know my mom has it on her Envoy and it looks pretty good. Just wondering if anyone has experience with it for their trucks. I want to protect the front end from all the crap that will get slung up in the winter. I can get it pre-cut with an install kit for $40, but I have also found a roll of it for $20. Anyone done it themselves. Any bad experiences, is it worth taking to a detailer?
