Default Thinking about rims and tires.

I have a 1986 Silverado, long bed, and was wondering if anyone knew of a good wheel and tire combo.

I have always liked the rally wheels, 8" in the front and 10" in the back, but I will agree that there are better combos out there..

I have the original rally wheels (with BFG Radial T/A's) and plan on keeping them, just need to re-paint them. I've thought about 10" rally's in the back so if I can find some we'll see. I favor the sleeper look, personally.

I held my left foot on the brake and the right was on the gas, just like on pavement, and that dirt was about as smooth and hard as pavement.

Hmmm..I've always liked Weld Prostars or Draglites on those trucks. They will give your truck a "street/strip" look which is what those trucks should look like. Whatever you do, don't put 20"+ wheels on it.

Yeah, I could slam it and have half the wheel sticking up out of the hood.

30's, that's a good one.

for the record i dont care for anything more than 20s on anything except fullsize suvs and they can handle 22s but thats it

and oldschool should stick with 17s or less
