Default Thinking about ditching grille guard, opinions....

I think I want to ditch the full grille guard and go with a bull bar so I can still have the lights. Any opinions on these? I couldn't find a Silverado pic, sorry.

If I do that I want to do a billet grille with cleared corners and a chrome/silver bowtie, maybe euro-style taillights. What do you all think?

I say go for it man it'll look a lot better. The Grill and the clear corners and the chrome bow is a plus. But not the euro's I think they are crap IMO!
Get the 03+ tail light covers now those look good for being stock!!

Agree with runnin9s. Don't do the tails though, the 03 tails look better.

Go for it! And if you do a tahoe grill with the planned mods above, it will look like mine.

Damn...those things hang way low under the bumper, didn't look that bad on the F150 pic. Maybe I'd be better without anything up there. Nice looking pic 02BlueStepside, very clean.

I don't know why I didn't think about the 03+ taillights either, I do agree that those look better. Thanks for the input guys, I think for now I'll get the billet grille/chrome bow/clear corners and do without the add-ons and see if I likey.

02Blue...did you clear the corners or buy new ones?

What would I have to do to make the side marker light orange if the lense was clear? I know the turn signal bulb is orange, but the side marker light is a standard clear bulb.

Got mine from www.procarparts.com I know they sell them on ebay cheaper than when I bought mine, I think like $15. I'll see if I can find the link.

I saw a truck like yours (extra cab, but black...and very dirty) with one of those Bull bars on it today, it looked good!

I want to find one that doesn't hang down so much under the front bumper. If I can do that, I'll get one for sure.
