I'd like to see what direction you take it. Based on your current truck you have good taste so would love to see what you do.

i just got me a black 87 s/b... my plans have already taken shape...
switched to a solid rear window, re-did headliner which makes the interior nearly 100% complete.
outside im gona put a sir michaels rol pan (like the red one has)
shave the front bumper bolts, 90 burban grille.
motor will be a 99-02 5.3 w/ 4l60e
the motor/trans is next on my list and ive only had this truck 2 weeks... im trying to sell my red 01silverado 5.3 s/c s/b for 8k... a buddy "has something in the works" so il give him 1 more week before i offer it lsewhere.

i found this really awesome website that shows you how to mod the factory harness 4.8-6.0 to make it run laying on the ground (if you wanted to) 6-8 wires i think it was..

that red, bagged one is in this months sport truck magazine, it's a very nice truck. I say you buy it, the replacement/mod parts for those trucks are cheap and abundant. I have plans for my '86, but not for a while. I've had the truck for 4 years, it was my first vehicle, the 73-87 C-10's are just about as good as it gets.

In other words.........DO IT!!
