There are a few threads over at GMFS.COM and FSC.COM of my lights, u can do a search if u want to see pictures.
I'd post em up but I'm not too good w/ linking and stuff... Sorry.

EDIT: I also got the third brake light smoked for free.

Those tailights look awesome! Can any of you guys give me a step by step, blow by blow of how exactly to do this?

You guys are talking about Testors paint, is that the model car paint? What color red, and what clear coat? Sorry for the questions, but I've really been looking for a inexpenssive way to ditch those ugly amber rectangles. Thanx.

Thanks man, that helps, looks like I got one more thing to do this summer.
What clear coat did you guys use, the Testors brand? Do they make any other transparent candy colors?

I used the Testor's clear coat in a can, yes.
When I went to the hobby shop near my house, they had a bunch of different colors but I didn't care to look, I know I wanted the transparent red color.
Mine looks just as good as any "professional" tail light tint job. I know because my brother had his tinted at some paint shop and got ripped for $200 and you can barely tell the difference.
I did a write up awhile back, just search for it.

Mine look like I just did them. No fading chipping, nothing. I think that's what the clear coat is for.
