Are there any holes or anything underneath the plasitc tailgate caps at the top of the gate? I'm thinking of removing mine. I was gonna do a SS one, but if I get a fiberglass lid, I don't think I'll need one at all.

 

There are holes under the oem caps, yes.

 

Thanks, now I won't just yank it off, . Guess I'll wait till I get my roll pan painted and leave the tailgate too. I wanna get the handle fliped to the inside and shaved on the outside anyways.
