tail lights

so was thinking about doing the boiling dye water like you can dip for interior plastic for my tail lights. anyone think it will work or am i dumb.

Unless I am mistaken that is the same stuff they use to dip guns in too in order to coat them with camo.

if your talking about hydro dipped? they yes it would work on them but im not sure if it is transparent at all. never had any experience with it on anything like that.

ive heard of it for dying interior plastics but not sure. look into it and tell me what you guys think
