I have 03 tails on my 01 Silverado and want to make sure they are working correctly.

Top bulb = dim with parking lights or headlights, bright with brake
Middle bulb = never dim, bright with turn signal
Bottom bulb = reverse light, works fine

How do the 03-06 tail lights operate? Mine has the 4th hole for the side marker that I need to hook up still.

 

Ive got 06 tails on my 02 and I got the harness with mine, makes it alot easier. Mine were BNIB for $120 with harness and bulbs.

 

And how do your bulbs operate?

 

same way with the newer tails, except for a corner bulb that when your running lights are off it is synchronized with the middle turn signal bulb and when the parking lights are on the corner bulb is lit all the time and alternates with the turn signal.

Good info! I just added the corner bulbs to mine and wired them in; one wire to the brown on the running light and the other wire to the blue on the turn signal. They work just like you said
