My silverstars lasted 8months. I picked up a set of "toucan" bulbs that one of our a/m suppliers has and I would say they are better than the silverstars. My dad ordered silverstars for his C5 and Sylvania told him they would only last 8-12 months at the most.
I figure hell if the company making them says they won't last long whats the point in offering them.

The stock GM fogs are useless. They are only there for looks, not function. If you look at any other true fog light, they use the H3 or H1 bulb. I don't know of any car that uses the 880 bulb. It's a piece of crap

my PIAA fogs have the H3 bulbs. they are better than my high beams. i get flashed alot so i aimed them down further.
