It's been a while since I've posted some pictures on here, but I've made enough changes to merit this post. My wife has been kind to me this summer.

Added Belltech Street Performance shocks. Huge difference in ride quality. Bump recoveries are quicker, cornering sharper, and that nasty 'squishy' floating feeling gone.



My old grille (for sale here: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...esh%5D-532389/) was replaced with a new OEM SS grille. I painted the grille mesh black using Krylon Fusion, and it looks factory. Also changed to a brushed billet bowtie, since nothing else on the truck is chrome.



I changed out most of my interior lights to LEDs. I LOVE this change. The pictures appear purple-ish, but it is all light blue. My gauges have red needles, too. All of the lights were changed to light blue for the HVAC, except the 'snowflake' thing, which looks great to me.





I also added a set of JBA headers and MSD plug wires. I immediately got a 2-mpg improvement and low and mid-range throttle response improvement. And before you hate about not getting long-tubes...don't. This is a daily driver, and I got brand-new ceramic coated shorties for $300. I couldn't say no.



Finally, I picked up a set of Vortec Max engine covers. Yeah, I know it's a 5.3, but I wanted the three-piece set and "Vortec 6000" felt dishonest...lol. After I get a tune, I'll probably be making Max-level horsepower anyway.
