Default This sucks

Got to work the other day and my right taillite was just danglin by the wiring harness. The tabs that the screws go into broke some how or another. Well after washing it yesterday the second picture came to my attention. $150 to fix the paint. The guy at the stealership accused me of hitting something and said those things just don't break...i said well this one did and i need a new light. we argued a little bit. all said and done my new lamp will be in in the morning Going to wait until i get a new roll pan and just have all the paint done at the same time. This thing is starting to become a hassle

dunno man, the tabs are broke and still on the truck...just a faulty product i guess...

what do you guys think about trying to get gm pay for the paint work? i mean it was their faulty light that caused the damage right?

weld in the roll pan. then you'll need to repaint that area.
