ill end up with more than that because i sent in my receipts and links to the wheels and lowering kit and they are gonna try to work it in to get me more money.

what insurance company do you have? Ive had not such good luck in the past with insurance companies and aftermarket stuff even when showing them receipts because it didnt actually add any "value" to the truck in their opinion and was just a personal taste modification..

so i guess i should update this. they ended up adding about 1300 to the price of the truck for the aftermarket parts so about half i guess. i bought the truck back and still got 5100 in my pocket. i got the truck back to the house and took off the drivers finder hoping that the firewall/door mounting area wasnt bent but it was pushed in about 2". i had a buddy that works in a very good local body shop come over and look at it and he said it is very fixable. i ended up having to to out of town for work and the wife need something reliable to drive so we used the money to buy her a very clean dark blue 00 gmc sierra rcsb stepside with 4.3. very good, clean truck but the 4.3 has to go. not sure if im gonna keep the pewter truck and fix it up for myself or just pull the motor, suspension out and put it on her new truck, ill figure all that out when i get back home.

been awhile but ill update this i guess. ended up buying the truck i mentioned above and took the wheels, suspension, rear, mirrors and all interior out of the wrecked truck and putt it on the new truck. pulled the motor, trans out of the wrecked truck and am about to install it in the new truck but im adding some long tubes, shift kit, tb stall, cai and i will tune it for her. had a buddy that didnt like the denali front end on his truck so i swapped him bumpers and grilles (****** score lol) and had them painted to match the truck. i am pretty much done with the looks of the truck except having the roof repainted, i love how the truck turned out just need to do the motor swap.
