Not to thread jack but...

Do the "SS" Chevy grilles come pre-painted in "SS" avail colors only (black, red, blue, silver birch) or are they just "paintable"

Also part # for SS grille in Silver birch if avail.

its a chevy...anyone want to buy my chrome pieces, or even better..trade for paint-ables!!!!!

the only way you can paint over chrome is just sanding it and you wont need to take it all of just use some 2k primer give it a couple of coats and your all said. i just got my 07 colormatched everything and that how they did it.

My front is all color matched. For the bumper, I took it to a chroming shop. They de-chromed my bumper for about $50 and turn around was two days. just $50 to do it right the first time.

i just scuffed mine and put some 2k primer over it, and it seems to be holding up fine
