Yes you are Just kidding, you know that's an HD hood right? They came on the 99-02 Heavy Duty Silverados. I thought about getting one for my truck before I sold it. They were very easy to come by, especially since my truck was white (lots of works truck out there that are white). There were several in good shape at local salvage yards in my area some time ago.

My truck was a fleetside and I swapped to a stepside bed, weighed the truck before and after the swap and the stepside was around 75# lighter

In case anyone else wants to do this to thier 2003 + one word of advice, the bumper mounts have to be cut and re-welded up higher to make the bumper fit right. Also Denali parts are expensive =(, very expensive.

I always fold my mirrors in when I park. Its a habbit, because I have seen people just walk by and smack mirros off. Better safe than sorry.

I wrecked the front end, so insurance paid most of it. Just had the body shop give insurance an estimate to get it back to stock then I paid them 680$ on top of my deductable to get them to order denali parts instead. all in all it was a good process.

I just figured if your going to pay to get it fixed you might as well get it fixed and upgraded! the total quote for the damnage was around 4800$ so the front end was pretty much smashed up good!

So when something bad happens you gotta make something good out of it. The transmission upgrade was 2500$ but I called in some favors to get it cheaper. As for money, I used about 1250$ of saved up money I had set aside for my Pioneer AVIC-N2 but thats going to have to WAIT again! doh!
