That's the only thing I could find for our trucks with any kind of heat extractor. I agree the scoop is kinda gay on that one.

One thing you have to worry about with that kind of vent (heat extractor) is water! You are going to get water in your engine compartment when it rains. I know I would not like that!

Side Vents or Cut-outs? I've never seen any on any silverado's but I always thought these looked good on the Ford's. Granted it's still a ford but the concept wasn't bad. Although I'm not a fan of how obvious those things stick out but a custom flush application might work. Just a thought!
